Beaminster crowdfunder within touching distance of reaching target
The Prout Bridge Project is raising money to buy a vehicle to support activities and the well-being of young people in the area
A crowdfunding campaign for Beaminster Youth Club was only launched at the start of this month.
Part way through the month and it's well on it's way to reaching it's target of £20,000.
The Prout Bridge Project aims wants to use the money to buy a vehicle to support activities and well-being for young people in the area.
"Due to Covid, we haven't been able to use their building since March 2020 and we won't be able to until September 2021 at the earliest, resulting in much reduced income & access to funding.
"Throughout the pandemic, the charity has been busy remotely helping people accessing the free counselling service & youth worker support, but we haven't been able to run our programme of youth clubs & community activities for people of all ages."
