Their parachute got caught on the side of the transmitter.
A base jumper's been rescued after attempting to jump off a transmitter pylon at Rampisham Down.
He was left suspended 30m from the ground on the side of pylon after his parachute got caught.
Firefighters from Yeovil and Beaminster attended and were supported by the technical rescue team from Weymouth.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue said:
"On arrival, crews found the casualty suspended approximately 30m up, with no apparent injuries.
"The technical rescue crew climbed the pylon using rescue equipment, and were able to release and lower the casualty – he was then taken to hospital."
