Bank card stolen during Weymouth robbery

The victim also suffered facial injuries in the incident

A woman's had her bank card stolen during a robbery in Weymouth.

The victim was approached by a group of young people near to Asda in Newstead Road, between 3.00 and 4.00pm on Sunday 23rd April.

She also suffered injuries to her face in the incident, but they're not thought to be serious.

Dorset Police is now asking any witnesses to come forward.

PC Jamie Ralphs, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident and I would like to hear from any witnesses.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam or mobile phone footage.”
