Man charged with attempted murder following stabbing in Bournemouth
A 43-year-old appeared in court in Poole in connection with the attack
A man charged with attempted murder after a man in his 40s suffered serious stab wounds in Bournemouth.
Officers from Dorset Police were alerted to an incident taking place at a property on Kerley Road at around 8:55pm on Tuesday (June 3rd).
When responders arrived at the scene, they found that a man in his 40s had suffered serious stab wounds.
Emergency services were called to the scene a short time later and the victim was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
An update from Dorset Police revealed the man continues to remain in hospital; his condition remains unknown.
Officers arrested a 43-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, with investigations being launched afterwards.
Following a long and detailed investigation, officers have now charged the man with attempted murder, alongside charges of possession of a bladed article and drugs offences.
The man appeared before Poole Magistrates' Court on Thursday (June 5th) before being remanded into police custody.
He will now appear before Bournemouth Crown Court on July 3rd in connection with attempted murder.
