Offenders smashed a window and door at Offcamber

Police in Blandford are investigating an attempted burglary at a bike shop.

The glass of a window and door was smashed at Offcamber in Salisbury Street at around 3.20am yesterday (Tuesday 30th May).

Dorset Police tell us no entry was gained and nothing was taken.

But they've said two people dressed in black clothing were seen to have caused damage before running away.

PC Edward Lewis, of North Dorset police, said:

“Officers attended and carried out searches of the area, however the offenders were not located.

“I am now appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.

“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage.”
