One person has been arrested in connection with catapults being fired in Dorchester Town Centre and Poundbury.

Police say they are trying to gather information on a small group of people believed to be using them.

They are urging anyone who can help with their investigation to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said:

"The neighbourhood team ask the community to tell us anything they know about who these individuals are so that we can prevent further criminal offences from happening. Please visit the Dorset Police website where it only takes a few minutes to fill out the form under the Do It Online section.

"Officers will not visit you in person if you make such a report and your details will be protected."
