Armed police called to Upwey Train Station

Two men have been arrested

Armed police have responded to an incident at Upwey Railway Station in Weymouth.

Officers from Weymouth & Portland Purple Squad and the Professional Development Unit were sent there in the early hours of Saturday morning (9 July)

Two people were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing damage to two cars and attempting to steal one of them.

The investigation has now been passed to British Transport Police.
