Police in Poole are asking any witnesses to a collision on Sea View Road in the town to get in touch with them.

At around 4.00pm last Tuesday (13th September), officers received a report that a red moped has been involved in a crash.

The rider, a 16 year old girl, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

But she was later arrested on suspicion of driving offences and has since been released under investigation.

There's now an appeal to see if any other vehicles were involved in the collision, or for any information into what happened.

PC Clare Gillard, of Poole police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please come forward.

“We are carrying out enquiries to establish whether a second vehicle was involved and I would ask anyone with relevant dashcam footage to please get in touch.”
