Appeal to find victims of Bournemouth brawl with reports of man with a hammer

Police had reports of a fight, but haven't traced those involved

Police in Bournemouth are looking to find the victims of an affray incident - after reports one of those involved was carrying a hammer.

A member of the public reported a fight involving a group of men in Old Christchurch Road at around 1.10pm on Saturday (22nd April).

Officers attended and searched the area, but nobody was located.

PC David Carmichael, of Bournemouth police, said:

“I am carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this incident, but so far I have not been able to identify those involved.

“It is not believed that anyone was injured, but I am keen to speak to those involved so I can establish exactly what happened.

“Also, I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage to please contact Dorset Police.”
