Mystery object reeled in by angler in Weymouth
An angler called 999 after he caught a mystery object off the Stone Pier in Weymouth

An angler fishing off the Stone Pier in Weymouth called the coastguard after he reeled in a mystery object.
He was concerned he'd landed an ordnance and dialled 999.
Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team were called to the scene.
They took photographs of the object which they sent to various agencies who confirmed it to be safe.
But what is it?
