Action has been taken to stop trespassers getting into a dangerous derelict building on Portland.

It's after police officers were called to reports of young people seen playing close to the edge of the former naval officer's flats.

Comer Homes have now made the site more secure and added signage around the building to tell people to keep out.

A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

"Portland NPT will look to prosecute any persons for any offences disclosed by Comer Homes.

"Please stay out of this building."
