He was taken to hospital with a head injury
Five teenagers have been arrested after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted on Weymouth seafront.
Police were called to the area around Weymouth Pavilion just before 2pm yesterday afternoon. (10 August)
The victim was taken to hospital for a head injury, which officers say is not believed to be serious.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Following enquiries, five people have been arrested on suspicion of affray. They are a 19-year-old man from Weymouth, a 17-year-old girl from Weymouth, a 17-year-old boy from Dorchester, a 14-year-old boy from Ferndown and a 14-year-old boy from Weymouth.
"They have all been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
"An investigation is ongoing."
