Two women have been arrested after a fight in Weymouth.
Police were called to Westham Bridge last night after reports of a disturbance.
The two women, who are both local, have been detained for assault and public order offences.
A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said:
"Following several reports of people fighting on Westham Bridge, 2 local females have been arrested for assault and public order offences. Both remain in custody while the investigation continues.
"Thanks to those members of the public who phoned us to report the incident allowing our officers to deal robustly with this type of anti-social behaviour."
