There's been a small decrease in Covid case rates in the Dorset Council area, with levels remaining low.

Public Health Dorset say there are only 2 people in hospital here with Covid-19.

There've been no deaths within the last 28 days of a positive Covid test in recent weeks.

In a statement on their website Public Health Dorset say:

"Our local situation is positive news, and we'd like to thank everyone for playing their part in keeping our cases low.

"As we start to open back up, we know the virus is still with us and things can change quickly, so we can't relax completely yet.

"That's why it's important to take part in regular rapid testing, get vaccinated when it's your turn, and self-isolate and get a PCR test if you have any COVID-19 symptoms."
