2 arrested in Weymouth drugs bust

Two males have been arrested after police raided an address in Preston in Weymouth.

Details of the operation which happened on Bank Holiday Monday have only just been released.

Weymouth Neighbourhood Policing Team say they were acting on "community intelligence."

A spokesperson said:

"Two males, one aged 18 and the other 16 years were arrested at the property on suspicion of drugs supply offences after an amount of suspected controlled drugs were located. Police investigations continue in relation to these offences.

"Weymouth NPT would like to thank the community for continuing support and information to assist Police with drug related offences."
