If you're looking for something to lift your lockdown blues then head on down to Dorchester's Window Wanderland.

The community, Covid-safe even starts tonight (Friday 19th February) and will run until Sunday (21st February).

From 6pm-9pm you can enjoy an outdoor trail of decorated windows, which over 170 homes, schools, churches and businesses are taking part in.

The window theme is 'A Brighter Future' which organisers say is ideal as we look forward to Spring and hope that this year we'll see a gradual return to normal life.

Emma Scott from Dorchester Town Council said:

"We are pleased to support this Covid-safe community project.

"One of the things that the pandemic has reminded us is how strong our local community is, and how much we value it.

"So it is lovely to see how this project is allowing streets and neighbours to come together, through their windows, if not quite yet in person.

"We are thrilled that so many people in Dorchester have already registered for Window Wanderland!"

Window Wanderland is a COVID-safe project, which provides resources for communities around the world to set up their own magical, illuminated window displays.

Plan your walk around the windows using an interactive map available on the Dorchester Window Wanderland web page. A downloadable map will also be available to print before the event.
