Woman sexually assaulted in Bournemouth bar

Dorset Police are asking witnesses to get in touch

A woman's been sexually assaulted in a Bournemouth bar, with police asking any witnesses to get in touch with them.

It's alleged a man pushed the victim us against a window at the Buffalo Bar in Wimborne Road, at around 1.15am on Valentine's Day (Tuesday 14th February).

He attempted to kiss her, before leaving when a member of the public intervened.

The man walked away in the direction of Alma Road.

He's described as being aged in his late 40s, around six feet tall and bald.

PC Carri King, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.

“I would also urge motorists who were travelling in the vicinity to please check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
