A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a car in Weymouth.
The man in his 20s was taken to hospital after the collision in Buxton Road on Thursday afternoon.
Dorset Police said they were called shortly after 4.00pm to a crash involving a black Nissan Micra and a black Yamaha motorcycle.
A man in his 20s suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, police said.
His family has been informed.
The driver of the Nissan, a woman aged in her 50s from Portland, was not injured.
Sergeant Lee Savage, of the roads policing team at Dorset Police, said: "We are carrying out enquiries as we seek to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
"I would also appeal for anyone with dashcam fitted to their vehicle who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to please review their footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our investigation.
"Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place."
