Appeal to trace man following Weymouth burglary

Food and alcohol were stolen from a garage on Blenheim Road

Police in Weymouth are investigating a burglary from a garage in Blenheim Road.

A man was spotted acting suspiciously just before 10.00pm last Thursday (14th December), with a garage broken into, and food and alcohol stolen.

The items were later recovered and returned to the victim, but the suspect wasn't found.

He's described as:

  • White
  • Six feet tall
  • Slim build
  • Dark hair
  • Beard
  • Wearing a light-coloured hoodie
  • Tracksuit bottoms
  • Carrying a rucksack

Police Constable Sam Welch, of Weymouth police, said:

“We are carrying out enquiries to identify the man responsible and will be reviewing any available CCTV in the area.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the vicinity and may have information to assist my investigation.”
