Driver rescued after van overturns in snow near Cerne Abbas
Crews were called out just after 2.30am this morning
One person has been rescued from a van after it overturned near Cerne Abbas.
Crews from Maiden Newton and Dorchester Fire stations were called out in the early hours of this morning.
There was snow falling in the area.
The driver escaped without any injuries.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said:
"At approximately 02:27 this morning crews from Dorchester and Maiden Newton Fire Station responded to reports of a single vehicle accident in the Cerne Abbas area.
"Once in attendance crews stabilised the vehicle and helped the driver out of the vehicle using a ladder.
"Luckily the driver didn’t have any injuries."
