Two 16 year old boys have been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated grievous bodily harm, following an incident in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police tell us the victim was driving in Capstone Road at around 3.05pm on Saturday 29th July, when he became involved in a verbal exchange with some cyclists.

He got out of his vehicle and one of the cyclists allegedly punched him in the face.

He was then kicked and punched again, causing him to fall to the ground.

The cyclists are then believed to have ridden away in the direction of Charminster Road - and the victim needed hospital treatment.

Following their investigations, and a CCTV appeal, detectives have arrested two teenagers.

They've been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
