Teenage boy and girl arrested in connection with assault and robbery in Poole
A man in his late teens was left with a head injury after having his phone stolen
Two people have been arrested in connection with a reported robbery in Poole.
At around 2.30pm on Monday 17 October a local man aged in his late teens was sitting on a bench outside Cobham Sports and Social Club facing Gravel Hill when he was reportedly assaulted and his phone was stolen.
The man sustained an injury to his head that required medical treatment.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Following enquiries, a 16-year-old boy from Wimborne was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and robbery and a 17-year-old girl from Poole was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
"They have both been released on police bail as enquiries into the matter continue."
