The pair have been fined nearly ÂŁ2,500 following a three day trial
Two men have been convicted of foxhunting in Blandford.
A 34 year old man from the town and 23-year old man from Exford in Somerset were found guilty of hunting a wild mammal with dogs.
It's in connection with an incident at Hod Hill in September 2022, where a fox was chased by hounds during a trail event, led by the Portman Hunt.
The conviction followed after a three day trial at Weymouth Magistrates Court, which ended on Friday (20th September).
The pair have been fined a total of ÂŁ2,470 between them.

“We take all reports of crime against wildlife very seriously and we will seek to prosecute those individuals or groups who commit offences in our rural communities.
