Two men arrested following Poole dangerous driving incident

Two men have been arrested following a dangerous driving incident in Poole.

Officers tell us a silver Vauxhall Zafira had been driving erratically from Blandford Road and through Oakdale, at around 2.20pm on Tuesday 15th August.

The vehicle was abandoned at Tesco on Waterloo Road, with two men leaving it behind.

A 36 year old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences, while a 26 year old Bournemouth man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug.

Both have been released under investigation.

PC Tom Henley, of Poole police, said:

“I am appealing for any witnesses to the incident who have not spoken with police yet to please contact us.

“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevant dashcam footage.”
