Two indecent exposures in Christchurch linked by police

Officers have released a picture of a man they want to identify

Two indecent exposure incidents in Christchurch, that took place on the same evening, are being linked by police.

The first happened in the McDonald's in Somerford Road at around 5.40pm last Thursday (31st August).

A second report of a man exposing himself was given to police at around 10.40pm that night, on Bridge Street.

Officers say they believe the same individual was involved.

Police Constable Gareth Jenkins, of East Dorset police, said:

“We are investigating these incidents and have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him, or any witnesses to these incidents, to come forward.

“I would also like to speak to taxi driver who I believe may have witnessed the incident in Bridge Street on the evening of Thursday 31st August 2023.”
