Three people injured during 'incident' in Weymouth

This happened on Preston Beach Road over the Easter weekend

Three people have been left with injuries following an affray incident in Weymouth.

Dorset Police tell us an 'altercation' between a cyclist and the occupants of two vehicles happened at around 3.35pm on Saturday (8th April) on Preston Beach Road.

A white Ford Transit van and a silver Ford C-Max car are thought to have been involved.

None of the injuries suffered are believed to be serious.

PC Joseph Garrard, of Weymouth police, said:

“I am looking to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident and may have information to help our enquiries.

“An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I am keen to hear from any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
