Three boys arrested in connection with Verwood knifepoint robbery

Detectives investigating the knife point robbery of a teenage boy in Verwood have made three further arrests.

The 15-year-old had clothes and jewellery stolen and was allegedly assaulted by four teenage boys behind Morrisons in Chiltern Drive.

He was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident, between 2.00 and 2.30pm last Monday afternoon (23rd October).

Three local boys have now been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

An 11 year old has been released under investigation, with two boys, aged 12 and 13, have been released on bail.

A 15 year old boy from Verwood previously arrested has also been released on bail.

There's an ongoing appeal by Dorset Police for information into the incident.
