A teenager's suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries, in a collision in Weymouth.

His Gilera Runner motorbike crashed with a green Honda Civic on Greenhill, near Melcombe Avenue, at around 6.00pm on Friday evening (30th December).

Dorset Police are investigating what happened and want to hear from any witnesses to the collision.

PC Tom Ringer, of the traffic unit, said:

“I would like to urge any witnesses to the incident or the manner of driving of either vehicle leading up to it to please contact us if we have not taken their account yet.

“I know that there was another vehicle travelling on Greenhill toward Weymouth and the occupants would have seen the collision, but did not stop. Therefore, I am very keen to hear from them as they may be able to assist with my investigation.”
