A teenage boy's been punched to the ground and repeatedly kicked during an affray incident in Bournemouth.

Police are investigating an altercation involving a large group of young people at the Slades Farm playing fields.

It happened at around 3.20pm last Sunday (27th October).

It's also alleged two of the group were carrying a knife and an imitation firearm, and were making threats to the public.

A 14 year old boy and a 16 year old boy - both from Bournemouth - have been arrested on suspicion of assault, affray and weapons offences.

They've both been bailed with investigations continue.

Detective Constable Ryan Higgins, of Bournemouth CID, said:

“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing. I understand that there were a number of witnesses at the scene who may have seen what happened, so I am keen to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to police.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam, home CCTV or mobile phone footage.”
