Teenage boys robbed by youth in balaclavas in Bournemouth
Dorset Police are investigating the incident, close to a primary school
Two teenage boys have been robbed of their mobile phones and cash, during an incident in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police tell us the 14 year old victims were in Broadway Lane, by Muscliff Primary School, at around 8.30pm on Wednesday (10th May) when a group of male teenagers approached them on bikes.
They grabbed the boys and took their phones and a ÂŁ10 note, before riding away towards the Broadway roundabout.
The group have been described as aged 15 or 16 years old, and some of them were wearing balaclavas.
PC Jordan Skinner, of Bournemouth police, said:
“We are investigating this robbery and are conducting a number of enquiries to identify those responsible.
“I would appeal to any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please contact us. In particular, I understand there were two people walking their dog in the vicinity who may have seen what happened.
“I would also ask any motorists who were in the area, or residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, to please review their footage from around the time of the incident to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
