Two male suspects demanded the victim handed over his bag

A teenage boy's been punched during a robbery in Bournemouth.

The 15 year old victim was approached by two male suspects on Wimborne Road, at the junction with Whitelegg Way, at around 8.00pm on Tuesday 3rd July.

They demanded he handed over his bag and punched him in the face, but he didn't suffer serious injuries.

One of the offenders is described as:

  • White
  • Aged around 16 years
  • Five feet eight inches tall
  • Skinny build
  • Wearing a black tracksuit with a face mask

The second suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • Aged around 16
  • Five feet eight inches tall
  • Stocky build
  • Wearing a black tracksuit with a face mask

PC Jordan Skinner, of Bournemouth police, said:

“Our investigation is continuing and I would urge anyone who saw what happened or has knowledge of the incident to please get in touch.

“In particular, I am keen to speak to two possible elderly witnesses who were in the vicinity and travelling in a red car.

“It is believed that the two suspects got out of a black Seat Leon before the incident and I would ask anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area at the time to please come forward.”
