Teenage boy arrested on suspicion of drug supply in Bournemouth
A 14 year old was stopped after he tried to run away from police
A 14-year-old boy's been arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs in Bournemouth.
He was detained after running away from officers who spotted him acting suspiciously at around 9.00pm on Saturday night (4th February) in the town centre.
The boy was stopped nearby, with a quantity of suspected Class A drugs recovered too.
The teen's been arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply.
He's been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police in Bournemouth have said:
"Officers will continue to respond to reports of suspected drug related activity and take positive action against those believed to be involved."
