Early morning Poole burglary sees bike stolen

An early morning burglary from a garage in Poole has seen an expensive bike stolen.

Two men are believed to have broken into the property on Widdicombe Avenue at around 1.30am this morning (1st September).

A Cervelo S-Series Ultegra Purple Chameleon carbon road bike was taken.

There's now an appeal for any witnesses to contact Dorset Police.

PC Julian Forde said:

“An investigation is underway and I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please get in touch.

“If you live in the vicinity and have home CCTV, I would ask you to please check your footage around the time of the incident for anything of relevance.

“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone who has seen a bike matching the one described either discarded or for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
