Police investigate fight involving weapons in Poole

It's alleged a knife, baseball bat and golf club were used in the incident

Police are investigating a fight in Poole, involving a large group of people carrying weapons.

The brawl broke out in Viscount Walk at around 7.20pm on Wednesday evening (9th October) - with reports of people carrying a knife, a baseball bat and a golf club.

A 45 year old man and a 16 year old boy, both from Poole, have been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.

The boy is also being questioned on suspicion of assault.

Thar pair remain in police custody.

Investigations Officer Aimee Saunders, of Bournemouth police, said:

“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing. I understand that there were a number of witnesses at the scene who may have seen what happened, so I am keen to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to police.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam, home CCTV or mobile phone footage.”
