Multiple vehicles damaged during criminal damage spree in Weymouth
Vehicles in four roads were targeted
Multiple vehicles have been damaged in four roads in Weymouth, during a spree of criminal damage last night.
Police say they were called to the Newstead Road area around 6pm last night. (5 December)
It's believed that multiple vehicles were damaged along Newstead Road, Kellaway Terrace, Wardcliffe Road and Southview Road.
A spokesman from Weymouth and Portland Police said:
"A male was quickly located and arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a number of vehicles.
"We are making enquiries in the area and one male remains in police custody.
"We would ask anyone with information regarding the incident to get in contact with the police quoting occurrence number 55220196681."
