Motorcyclist fighting for his life following Christchurch collision

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition following a collision involving his bike and a car in Christchurch.
Dorset Police said they were called to reports of a crash involving a white BMW 118i and a Yamaha motorbike on Fairmile Road at around 4.30pm on Monday (November 4th), at the junction with Stour Road.
The rider, a local man aged in his 50s has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Officers have said his next of kin has been informed.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Dorset Roads Policing Team, said:
"This incident occurred at a busy time of day and I understand there were a number of motorists in the area who may have seen what happened.
"I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
"Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
"Finally, I would like to thank the public for their patience while emergency services were in the area treating the injured man and carrying out an examination of the scene."
