A woman's suffered arm and shoulder injuries after the electric bike she was riding in Bournemouth was involved in a collision with a motocross style bike.

The crash happened on Wimborne Road, near the junction with Hawthorne Road, between 7.35 and 7.45am on Tuesday 28th November, with the details just released.

It's reported the motorbike involved didn't stop at the scene.

“We are continue to make enquiries into this incident and I am keen for anyone with information about the motorcyclist involved to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to any witnesses who have not already contacted police. I understand there were a number of people at a nearby bus stop who may have seen what happened and a woman who stopped in her car to assist the victim.

“Finally, I would urge anyone who was driving in the area with dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”

The victim's injuries luckily weren't serious.
