Man found with serious injuries at Weymouth's Westham Bridge
Dorset Police are trying to work out what happened
A man's been found with serious injuries in Weymouth, with police now trying to work out what happened.
Officers got a call from the ambulance service at around 7.40pm on Thursday night (27th April), after a man in his 40s was discovered at Westham Bridge, and needed medical assistance.
The man had suffered injuries to his head and face, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
There's now an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
PC Fiona Napier, of Weymouth CID, said:
“This incident left a man hospitalised and we are determined to find out what happened.
“I would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage. Their information could be crucial to our investigation.”
