Man robbed of Rolex watch outside Poole kebab shop

Dorset Police describe it as a 'high value' robbery

A man's been robbed of an expensive Rolex watch during an incident outside a Poole kebab shop.

The victim, in his 30s, was waiting with friends to get a taxi near the Golden Kebab house on Bournemouth Road at around 1.50am on Saturday 12th August.

A man approached, claiming the taxi was for him, and pushed the victim up against the vehicle, taking the watch from his wrist.

The offender then left in the direction of Church Road.

He's described as:

  • Around 30 years old
  • Five feet eight inches tall
  • Large build
  • Bald head
  • Wearing a khaki green T-shirt
  • Dark jeans

It's also believed was with a woman, described as being in her early 20s, around five feet seven inches tall and with curly black hair.

She was wearing a white hooded top and white trainers.

The stolen watch was a Rolex Daytona Oysterflex in Champagne colour.

PC Aaron Strange, of Dorset Police, said:

“We have been continuing to investigate this robbery and have now obtained further information from the victim. I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information that might assist our enquiries to please come forward.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the vicinity during the early hours of Saturday 12 August 2023 to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
