Dorset Police tell us the victim was driving in Capstone Road at around 3.05pm on Saturday last week (29th July), when he became involved in a verbal exchange with some cyclists.

He got out of his vehicle and one of the cyclists punched him in the face.

He was then kicked and punched again, causing him to fall to the ground.
