Man jailed for drug supply in Bournemouth town centre

A Bournemouth man's been jailed for being concerned in drug supply in the town centre.
40 year old David George Hinchey has been given a 12 month sentenced, for dealing MDMA, cocaine and cannabis.
He was seen by Dorset Police officers acting suspiciously near the Lower Gardens in June last year, and was found with a mobile phone, which was seized.
Less than a month later, he was seen acting, also in the Lower Gardens, and found to be in possession of Class A drug wraps.
He was arrested and examinations of his phone found evidence it was being used in drug supply.
PC Stuart Grant, of the Bournemouth South Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:
“We recognise the impact the supply of drugs has on our communities and the concern it causes for residents. Therefore, we are committed to doing all we can to disrupt the activity of those involved in supplying drugs.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team regularly carry out patrols in the Lower Gardens and will act upon anyone seen to be acting suspiciously.
