Man charged after assault on woman in Bournemouth

Officers investigating an alleged assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report shortly before 8pm on Saturday 15 October of an incident in Holdenhurst Road, near to the Texaco petrol station.
It was reported that a woman had been assaulted by a man who was known to her.
Officers attended and a 43-year-old local man was arrested.
He was subsequently charged with assault and appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 17 October 2022.
He is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 17 November 2022.
