Man arrested in Weymouth during rape investigation

A man's been arrested by police in Weymouth, investigating a reported rape.
Officers were called to some 'suspicious activity' outside an address in Dorchester Road just after 10.00pm on Saturday night (13th May).
It was reported a woman in her 50s had been raped.
A cordon was set up to allow for examinations of the scene.
A 36 year old man from Weymouth has been arrested on suspicion of rape, and since released on bail while enquiries continue.
Dorset County CID is leading the investigation, which is ongoing.
The victim is being supported by trained officers while enquiries are being carried out too.
