Children given free entry all year round to Dorset Museum
The attraction's scrapping fees for kids from July
Dorset Museum's giving all children under 16 free entry to the attraction from next month (Monday 3rd July).
The Dorchester site's scrapping fees for kids all year round, in an effort to get more families visiting.
Children will need to be accompanied by a paying adult though.
Adult tickets will also now allow unlimited visits for 12 months too.
Elizabeth Selby, Interim Director said:
"We have been offering Kids Go Free at weekends for the last few months and we have been blown away by how well it has been received. We are very conscious of the financial challenges a lot of people are facing at the moment, so we have decided to extend this offer to all children, whenever they come during the year."
This summer, Dorset Museum will host the Natural History Museum's 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ exhibition from 21st July to 29th October.
The National Festival of Archaeology runs from 15th to 30th July too, with the Museum hosting events to celebrate Dorset’s rich archaeological heritage.
