Large amount of jewellery stolen in Poole burglary

The incident happened during the day on Playfields Drive

A large amount of jewellery's been stolen from a Poole home, in a broad daylight burglary.

Thieves broke into a house on Playfields Drive between 11.00am and 9.30pm on Tuesday (23rd April),

Six pairs of earrings, a tie pin, a brooch, two watches, a charm bracelet and necklace - all in silver or gold - were taken.

PC Joseph McKee, of Poole police, said:

“We are conducting a number of enquiries into this burglary, and I am appealing for anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.

“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on Tuesday 23 April 2024, or who may have captured any relevant footage on home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam.”
