Girl knocked to the ground in Dorchester fight

Police say a group of young people were involved in Monmouth Road

A girl's been knocked to the ground during a fight in Dorchester, involving a group of young people.

Police say males and females were part of the incident in Monmouth Road at around 5.15pm on Monday last week (7th October).

Officers did attend the scene, but no suspects were located.

There's now an appeal for witnesses to get in touch.

PC Ben Hannigan, of Dorchester police, said:

“We are continuing to investigate this incident, but so far we have not been able to identify anyone involved.

“I am appealing to anyone with information about what happened to please come forward so we can ensure any appropriate action is taken.

“Finally, I would ask residents in the area or any motorists travelling with a dashcam to please check their footage for anything of relevance that may assist my investigation.”
