Two fossil hunters have been rescued after becoming trapped in mud beneath crumbling cliffs on the Dorset coast.

Coastguard crews were called out twice on Saturday afternoon to help people near Lyme Regis and Charmouth.

One man was stuck up to his waist.

Both people were checked over by paramedics.
