Former bank in Wareham to become housing
The old Natwest on North Street will be converted
A former Wareham bank is to be converted into homes.
The NatWest building in North Street, next to the Town Hall, will see the conversion and extension of the building.
That'll create three self-contained apartments, with the demolition of a rear extension to make way for a terrace of three cottages.
Wareham Town Council objected to the proposals as an overdevelopment of the site, although say that changes since the scheme was first proposed are an improvement on the original design.
