Police in East Dorset are looking for information into a fail-to-stop collision, involving three vehicles.

A black BMW was travelling along Horton Road, near the Horton Inn, at around 7.25pm on Thursday 23rd February.

It was approached by a black sports car on the wrong side of the road, as it was overtaking a white car with 'L' plates.

The BMW, driven by a man in his 40s, was forced into a verge to avoid the cars.

His vehicle suffered some damage, and he sustained minor injuries.

The other two vehicles did not stop at the scene.

PC Rob Chandler, of East Dorset police, said:

“We are conducting enquiries into this collision, and I would urge the drivers of the other two vehicles involved to please come forward so we can take your accounts.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
