Electric bike stolen in Poole burglary
Police are asking us to watch out for it being sold off
An expensive electric bike has been stolen in a burglary in Poole.
Dorset Police tell us the occupants of a house in Compton Avenue noticed a man, dressed in black, in their garden just after midnight on Friday 21st October.
It was then discovered a garage window was broken, and a Forme Peak Trail 1 ELS bike had been stolen.
They're worth around ÂŁ2,800 from new.
We're told the offender is described as:
- White
- Aged under 30 years old
- Clean shaven
- Heavy set
- Short hair
PC Julian Forde, of Poole police, said:
“I would urge anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity around the relevant time to please come forward.
“I am also appealing to residents with CCTV or motorists who were travelling in the area with a dashcam to please check your footage for anything to assist my investigation.
“Finally, if you have seen for sale or been offered a bike matching the one described in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”
